Membership InformationMembership is available to occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, students, physicians, organizations, and others who are interested in promoting the field of hand therapy. Members do not need to reside in the state of Texas. All memberships expire on December 31. Membership TypesActive Member ($45): Must be a certified hand therapist (CHT). An Active member may vote for all elected officers, except for Affiliate Member Representative. They may hold elected office and be a member or chair of a committee. Affiliate Member ($30): A certified or licensed occupational or physical therapist (not a CHT), occupational or physical therapy assistant, physician, or other professional. An Affiliate member may vote for the Affiliate Member Representative and may be a member or chair of a committee. Partner's Circle ($30): Members of organizations that share the common interest of supporting the advancement of hand therapy. A Partner's Circle member does not have any voting rights, cannot hold elected office, but may participate as a member of a committee. Student Member ($10): Must be enrolled in a full-time accredited entry-level occupational or physical therapy program or occupational or physical therapy assistant program. A Student member does not have any voting rights, cannot hold elected office, but may participate as a member of a committee. Lifetime Member: A recipient of the Nancy Geers Award. A Lifetime member does not have any voting rights, cannot hold elected office, but may participate as a member of a committee. Join Today! |
